Story about passion, persistance and reaching your goals

Yes, ladies and gentleman, I am not going to talk about some cool new website for all of you graphic designers, visual artists, professionals and enthusiasts.
I am going to tell you about the importance of being yourself.
I am going to tell you about hard work, about persistence, about stubbornness and the drive. The drive to pursue and chase your dreams. The life and the energy that surrounds it and pushes it forward.
Yes, my dear rare visitors, I am going to tell you about a woman.
A woman that decided to try it. Against all odds. Woman that stopped and said I've had enough of this shit and I ain't gonna take it any more.
Woman who decided to quite her daily job at the office, start her own business and try to create a new life, from scratch. I am, of course, talking about - my wife.
She is a graphic designer, photographer and a lot more than this. She is one stubborn and persistent entrepreneur with no capital to start her business with.
But, where there is a will, there is a way. We put together some money for Canon 20D some few years ago and that's how it started.

Taking images, buying Photo studio equipment, renting an apartment for studio, finding models, spending a bunch of money on all this only to find out that making illustrations is much better.

Then nights and nights of making illustrations and additional work for causal clients. Feeling frustrated for getting so little for so much work.

And then, the latest stage, making her own Photoshop brushes blog and a store. Advanced photoshop magazine, Digital Arts and MacWorld and Smashing Magazine even published some of her work and the shop lives.

What can I say?

It's not easy. It never was to do it on your own with no capital at least good marketing behind you, but we strive, every day, step by step and maybe one day this goal will be achieved and this store will be recognized for what it is - a great source of Photoshop brushes, designs and illustrations for designers and scrapbookers. Maybe it won't. What matters is that we have a goal and we're ready to work hard like we always did, to make our dreams true.

So, if you have your own story like that, do not quit. Never. Let me know and I will gladly publish it.
